Happy Friday friends!

I hope all of you are doing well. I had mentioned in last week’s post that restaurant week has arrived here in Charlotte! I love restaurant week and being able to try out some new restaurants without having to break the bank.

Date night is always fun. I love getting dressed up, going out to eat and having a good time. I wore this darling little baby doll dress a couple weeks ago for date night in South Park and got so many compliments! We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Maggianos and even had PLEANTY of leftovers to take home.

I typically don’t gravitate towards baby doll styled dresses because I feel that they make me look WAY younger than I'd like. but something about this one just seemed right for me. There’s something about the combination of the color of this dress and the floral that gives this dress a vintage feel to me. To dress this dress up a little for date night I paired it with my favorite nude wedges, some pearl earrings and a pendant necklace.

What do you all think about babydoll dresses? Are they a yay or nay for you? I hope all of you have a wonderful and safe weekend!

The Finishing Touch

Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar || Bath and Body Works Summer Vanilla || Bath and Body Works Sweet on Pairs || Urban Outfitters Pistachio Brulee || Frank Oliver Bamboo

Happy Thursday friends!

I hope all of you are having a great week so far! I'm super excited about today's blog post so I'm just going to jump right into it.

When putting together a look for going out the first thing that comes to mind is usually the clothes, the shoes, the jewelry, but one thing that is commonly overlooked when creating a look is the scent. I mean, smelling good can make all of a difference of making someone a 9 to a 10. ...Ok all jokes aside, smelling good is a good thing to keep in mind.

Similar Lilly Pulitzer Dress || Similar Bauble Bar Tassel Bracelet

I love getting new body sprays and perfumes every now and then, but I am pretty pick when it comes to what scent I like. I mean, scents are so personal! Personally I love a good sweet sugary smelling scent. Since I was on the market for a new perfume I decided to take a look on Fragrance Outlet's website.

From DKYN to Vera Wang, Fragrance Outlet is sure to have a scent that will satisfy anyone! Fragrance Outlet is known to be one of the nation's largest retailers for designer fragrances. On their website there's so many fragrances to choose for and the best part is their fragrances are all marked down! I mean, who doesn't love saving money?

Sally Hansen Lacy Lilac  || Frank Oliver Bamboo c/o

The perfume I ended up choosing was Bamboo by Frank Oliver. The scent is a little musky than what I typically gravitate towards, but I am pleasantly pleased by it! The bottle design is also a nice plus. There's even a bamboo carved into the bottle AND it's pink? Major brownie points.

Speaking of packaging... take a look at how the perfume came in!
The box the perfume came in was just too cute! I am such a sucker for cute packaging. The way they wrapped up the perfume is like a present and who doesn't love presents??

Fragrance Outlet also included 4 perfume samples in my package which is awesome because like I mentioned before, I am super picky with my scents so it's nice to have small testers before committing to a whole bottle. Also, these are great for traveling! I'm especially excited to test out the Hermes perfume!

What's your favorite scent? Let me know in the comments down below! Also let me know what your favorite perfume is and I may check it out! Have a great Wednesday everyone! (:

*This is post is in partnership with Fragrance Outlet and all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that that support Pastel N Pink!

The Perfect Floral Dress

Dress: BooHoo (same print in maxi form) || Wedges: Target (similar) || Sunglasses: Nasty Gal || Tote: Nordstrom || Necklace: Francesca's || Watch: Michael Kors (similar) || Silver Cuff: Forever 21 || Bow Bangle: Kate Spade (similar)

Happy Tuesday Friends!

We all know that I have a slight floral obsession. I mean, I can’t simply pass up a good floral piece! When I came across this darling little dress on BooHoo I knew I HAD to have it. The dress was fairly affordable to begin with, but on top of that BooHoo was having one of there 50% off dresses promotions. I scored this darling piece for less than 15!

If you haven’t shopped at BooHoo before, I highly recommend it. They have such darling pieces at affordable prices. They are always running specials are right they have 40% everything including sale going on right now!

This dress is super comfortable and it’s also a major plus that it’s a shift so I can hide all of my food babies… This dress would be perfect for Sunday brunch or even work! I paired my go-to Nordstrom tote with this dress and I think the color matches it PERFECTLY. If you’re on the look out for a cute and affordable tote, I recommend picking this darling one up. It comes in a ton of colors and it’s reversible!

I hope all of you are having a wonderful week so far! Also, be sure to come back tomorrow for a bonus post here on Pastel N Pink!

#NSALE Items You Can Wear NOW

Happy Monday friends!

It's finally here!! The Nordstrom Anniversary sale (aka #NSALE) is finally open to the public! If you have no idea what I'm talking about for what ever reason I'll give you a quick run down on what the anniversary sale is.

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is where Nordstrom brings out all of their NEW fall items and mark them down. I'm not talking just a couple dollars off, I'm talking about a couple hundred dollars off! This is awesome because you can grab some new fall goodies you would normally purchase for a great deal. Hurry and take advantage of this sale now because prices go back up August 8th!

So I'm going to be honest with you all. It's super hard for me to even think about boots and sweaters when it's 90+ degrees out here in Charlotte. Also, when I purchase something I want to wear it RIGHT AWAY. Yes, the Nordstrom sale is great for stocking up pieces for the fall at a great price, but there are some pieces you can pick up that you can wear now and transition to the fall time.

I've searched the website and picked out a few things that you can sport now and be able to transition it to the cooler months. I do want to add that these items are selling out FAST so I would recommend purchasing something ASAP if you like it! Just click on the item you want down below and it'll redirect you to the website where you can purchase it. Happy shopping!!

Have you been shopping the sale? Let me know what you picked up in the comments down below! Happy shopping everyone!

Pink Talks v.6

Previous Pink Talks: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5

Happy Saturday friends!

I hope you all have had a fantastic week and welcome back to another Pink Talks! Things has been pretty slow this past week so I don't have too much to update you all on.

What I've been doing...

Weddings, Weddings, Weddings
Dress || Similar Wedges || Watch || Purse

I guess I have reached that point in my life where everyone around me is getting married or getting engaged. This past Sunday I got to attend my cousin's wedding and it had such a fun time catching up with my family. I wore this beautiful Lilly Pulitzer dress which you can see it in a blog post here.

3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
I love finding new recipes on Pinterest to try out. I came across this three ingredient peanut butter cookie recipe and I'm hooked! It's SO easy and they turn out delicious! The recipe calls for 1 cup of sugar, but I just put half a cup and think it's still plenty sweet. Let me know if you all have tried this 3-ingredient cookie recipe and let me know what you think!

Recent Purchases...

The other day I randomly decided to pop into Banana Republic for the first time. The entire store was 50% off and I managed to snag two out of the three pieces pictured above.

I picked up this black and white stripped top (not online, similar here) that would be perfect for all year around. As simple and basic as a simple black and white stripe top is, I don't really have on in my closet... until now! I also picked up these leaf printed shorts (not online, similar style here) and love how they fit! I haven't been a huge fan of denim shorts this summer so printed cotton shorts have been my go to!

#Nsale
Yesterday the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opened up to the public! Although many of the items I have wanted were sold out, I did managed to snag a cozy burgundy cardigan, a blanket scarf, and some new winter boots. I cannot wait for them to come in and start styling them for the cooler months!

The Nordstrom sale has only been open for a day to the public and already so many items are being sold out! I have linked some of my favorites down below for you all that are still in stock! If you like something I suggest you snag it ASAP because things are selling out like hotcakes!

Summer Date Night Dresses + CLT Restaurant Week

Red Drop Waist Dress  || Blue Skater Dress || Navy and White Floral Dress || White Lace Dress || Black Strappy Dress || Hot Pink Dress || Cobalt blue Dress || Keyhole Swing Dress (part of the #NSALE!)

Happy Friday friends!

So many exciting things are happening today! First off today is the day the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is open to the public!! I am so excited for the sale and to share with you all what I purchased from it. Today is also the first day of restaurant week, AKA, Queen's Feast here in Charlotte!

If you all aren't familiar to what restaurant week is, it's a week where more than 130 restaurants in the Charlotte area offer a three course dinner for $30 - $35. This is the best way to try out new restaurants at a more affordable price. Most of the restaurants have entrees that are easily $30 so this is an awesome deal to take advantage of.

In honor of restaurant week I am sharing some dresses that I think will be perfect for restaurant week or for any summer date night where you want to get dressed up for! I am loving this cobalt blue layered dress and can totally see this with some nude heels for a cute date night. Also, this hot pink dress would be darling with some black heels and a statement necklace for a fun night out!

My Restaurant Picks

I also thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite restaurants that I have ate at that are included in restaurant week this year! If you're in the Charlotte area or plan on visiting Charlotte during restaurant week, you can check out the list of participating restaurants here.

Blue Restaurant and Bar
I have ate at Blue multiple times for multiple occasions such as Valentine's day, Christmas, and my 20th Birthday! They have the best bread (the cranberry one is my favorite!) served with olive butter. If you ever go to Blue aside from restaurant week and order from their regular menu, RJ ( aka Mr. Camera man) always gets the wild boar shoulder and he highly recommends it!

Fahrenheit
I have been to Fahrenheit multiple times for both brunch and dinner and it never disappoints! The best part of Fahrenheit (besides the food of course!) is the KILLER view! It has the best view of Charlotte. When I did eat meat their lobster macaroni was my favorite!

Maggiano's Little Italy
I ate at Maggiano's for the first time at my first InfluenceHer Collective meet up and fell in love! I love Italian food and it didn't disappoint at at all. My favorite entree from Maggaino's is their four cheese ravioli. SO GOOD. If you're looking for a good appetizer I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms. You're welcome.

Nikko's Japanese Restaurant and Bar
Best. Sushi. Ever. I'm not kidding. Also, I'm not a huge ginger salad fan, but their ginger salad is my favorite! Their dressing isn't too strong and their miso soup is delicious as well.

Morton's Steakhouse
I actually went here last winter for restaurant week with some friends and it was delicious! Morton's has this "high class, classy" feel to the restaurant and I love it! I had their lobster bisque last time for restaurant week and it so good! They have it again this year for restaurant week, yay!

Those are a few of my thoughts on my favorite restaurants participating in restaurant week for ya. Are you planning on attending restaurant? If so, let me know where you plan on eating at! Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy Wednesday friends!

I hope all of you are having a wonderful week so far! I made it back to Charlotte Monday afternoon and am so excited to be back!

There's a lot that I missed about Charlotte, like the many places to eat, Uptown, and more shopping options versus my super tiny hometown. One thing I do not miss however is the crazy high temperatures! Yesterday I got into my car it said it was 100 degrees! #dying

It's always a struggle to find something to wear while trying to make sure you're not going to sweat to death. Lately, my go to's have been lightweight tanks and flowy skirts, especially in light colors because black and sunshine do not make a happy equation. I got many of these pieces a few years ago, but I have linked many similar items down below for you all!

What do you wear to beat the summer heat? I'd love to know in the comments down below! Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Happy Monday friends!

I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! Yesterday I attended one of my cousin's wedding and had such a wonderful time.

Up until a couple weeks ago I have never owned a pair of white skinny jeans. I was always afraid that they would easily get dirty (which, with me wearing them is still a big possibility) and I just wouldn't wear them as much. I have had these skinny jeans for a couple weeks now and have already started creating so many outfits with them (check out my first time wearing them here)! They're so versitle and I cannot believe how late I am on the white skinny jeans train.

For this outfit I paired my skinny jeans off with a hot pink tank that I picked up from Marshalls a few weeks ago. I love how fresh and clean the hot pink and white look together. I also managed to find these beaded sandals from Marshalls as well. I have been eyeing them for a while and was excited to find them on clearance last time I had went.

On a different note, I have a ton of exciting content coming to Pastel N Pink in the next coming weeks! So be on the look out for those and I hope you have a great Monday!
