Happy New Year's Lilly lovers!
We're kicking off 2021 on a colorful note! The January Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale dates have been announced and I'm sharing all the details on what to know about the sale in today's post!
First off, what is the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale?
If you're new around here or have never heard of the After Party Sale, it's a bi-annual sale Lilly Pulitzer holds where their past season pieces are heavily marked down. It's a big deal in the Lilly community as Lilly Pultizer rarely goes on sale. You can expect to find classic pieces such as their iconic shift dresses and popovers as well as some past season prints. Lilly typically holds a sale in January and one in the fall around the end of August/early September.
THIS YEAR'S AFTER PARTY SALE DATES:
Saturday, January 2nd to Sunday, January 3rd: In-store shopping review for SELECT Lilly Pulitzer Retail stores. You can check out participating stores here.
Monday, January 4th around 8:00am to Tuesday, January 5th, 11:59pm: ONLINE ONLY
HOW TO SHOP:
This year due to COVID, Lilly will hosting their in-store shopping event on January 2nd and January 3rd at select stores only. For my Charlotte babes, SouthPark mall IS participating in the in-store shopping event. After January 3rd, Lilly Pulitzer retail stores will not be hosting the After Party Sale.
You can shop the sale online only on January 4th - 5th by logging onto the Lilly Pulitzer website at 8:00am. Be sure to check back Tuesday morning as they typically add new pieces to the sale!
HOW DOES THE SALE WORK:
Once you go onto the Lilly Pulitzer website Monday morning around 8:00am (ish, sometimes they're off by a few minutes!) you'll be placed in a virtual line. Once you're in the line they'll give you an estimated time of when you'll be able to access the sale. Once you're in line, do not refresh your page as you will be placed at the back of the line.
Also, keep in mind, it's not worth it to have multiple tabs on your laptop open to hold different spots in line. The line system goes by your IP address and it'll just be showing you the same spot in line if you do so. If you'd like to hold different spots in line, I'd advise you to log in on various devices such as your laptop, tablet, phone, significant other's phone... etc.

PAST LILLY PULITZER FAVES:
Mila Shift Dress
Mila Shifts are a classic and you can most likely expect to see this style in this year's sale. I will say they run small and I recommend sizing up! This Mila shift was actually my first ever APS purchase from a few years back and still one of my favorites!
Donna Rompers
If I have to pick an absolute Lilly favorite, I'd say their Donna Rompers! They have the same look as a Mila Shift, but have shorts underneath. They're the perfect throw on, head out the door kind of piece for spring and summer! I wrote a whole post going in-depth on why I love Donan Rompers + Sizing!
Skorts
Lilly always has a few skort styles in their sales and their Maddison skort is one of my faves! You can easily dress them up or down and I love how the shorts underneath. A few other skort favorites include the Collette and the Tanya skort!
Sophie Dress
Next to the Mila Shift, the Sophie dress is up there with one of my favorite Lilly dresses! This is made of cotton material and perfect for early spring/fall. I wear these all the time to work and Lilly usually includes this style into their sale as well!
