Happy Monday friends!

I hope you all are enjoying your Labor day weekend! Sadly I've been super busy with work lately and I'm actually working a double today. I’ve been picking up some extra shifts at work to keep me busy while RJ is gone, so far so good… but the good news is that RJ comes to visit this weekend! I'm so excited!

In other news.

The weather here in Charlotte has been pretty chilly lately! I think it may be due to the hurricane bringing in some of the weird weather our way. The cooler weather has definitely put me in the mood to start styling some fall outfits and breaking out all the fall colors.

If you have been a follower of my blog for awhile then you know I love florals! I don’t think they should only be worn in the spring and I am always finding ways to add them into my wardrobe all year round. I think the trick to wearing florals in the cooler months is finding a print in a darker color scheme.

I found this darling maroon romper from my newly favorite discounted online store and I think it’s the perfect way to bring florals in the fall. I wore this to RJ’s and his roommate’s going away party a couple weeks back and got so many compliments! The wrap style of this romper is very flattering and I just can’t get over the pretty maroon color. The romper does cut lower than I am comfortable with, but it was an easy fix with a simple safety pin.

I styled this romper with some strappy flats because we still have some hot days left until it officially cools down here in the Carolinas, but I think this would also look adorable with some brown booties!

How would you style this romper? Let me know in the comments down below! I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Amy
