BooHoo Review

Happy Monday friends!
If you have been a follower of the blog for a hot minute then you may know that I have collected quite a few pieces from BooHoo. If you're not familiar with BooHoo, it is an online retailer that offers men's and women's clothing. BooHoo is known for its affordable clothing pieces and they're always running crazy sales such as 50% everything.
Also note: BooHoo typically sends you a 30% off coupon off your order if you add something to your cart and leave if you have an account with them.
I'm the first to say that I am very hesitant to order from websites that I'm not familiar with and especially those that have "too good to be true" prices. I mean, how can you not? After hearing about BooHoo multiple times on YouTube and on social media I finally decided to take the plunge and try it for myself. I have been shopping on BooHoo for about a year now and wanted to share my experience with the site with you all. So, let's get started now, shall we?
Sizing

This has to be the trickiest part about ordering from BooHoo. When I first ordered on BooHoo all the sizing options were in UK sizes, but recently I noticed they started switching over to US sizes.
For size reference, I'm typically a Small / Medium or a size 4 in most stores. In Old Navy, J.Crew and most boutiques I'm typically a small and in Forever 21 I'm almost always a true medium. When I order from BooHoo I usually order a US size 4 or UK 8.
I typically order dresses from BooHoo and almost all of them have fit me fine. I have ordered a couple tops from them and stuck with my dress size. As for bottoms, I have only ordered a skirt from them (the one that was unlined and super revealing) and even though it didn't work out style-wise, it did fit well.
Always be sure to reference the size chart of each clothing item because each item may be different. I typically mainly order looser fit clothing pieces such as shift dresses and oversized sweaters in case the clothing item is too big it won't look too strange. 

Quality

As for quality, you pretty much get what you paid for. I believe all of the items I have purchased on BooHoo were all on sale and came to under $25. I have a mix of items ranging from pretty decent quality to paper-thin quality that feels like it could rip at any second. One thing to note is that the price does not reflect quality. I have paid $22 for a dress and a dress I've paid $8 was 10x better quality than the $22 one.
My suggestion is to check the description of all the clothing pieces you are interested in purchasing. Reviews are also helpful as well. Also, be sure to make note if it says the clothing item is unlined or not. One time I had purchased a wrap style skirt and didn't realized it was unlined and am not able to wear it unless I want a lot more of my "goods" to show than I want.. 
Another thing to keep in mind regarding quality is that most if not all of their spaghetti strap items (such as the one pictured above) are not adjustable. The ones I have received have super long straps that would make the item unwearable without an adjustment. If you do decide to purchase a piece that has spaghetti straps, a track I have been doing has been tying the straps into a bow and sewing it in place. 

Shipping / Returns

Shipping - I have heard those in other countries receive their orders from BooHoo within a hand full of days. From my experience, I typically receive my order in a week and a half to two weeks. Something to keep in mind in case you order a piece for a particular event.
Returns - When you purchase from Boohoo, keep in mind is that BooHoo does not offer free returns so that's something to keep mind before you order multiple items in hopes to send back the pieces you don't want.

BooHoo is a great place if you want to purchase super affordable and trendy pieces. Like most online places, it can be a hit or miss place to purchase from.
