If you've been following me for a while then you know I love getting the most out of my clothing pieces (I mean, who doesn't?). I'm always looking for different ways I can style my pieces and always love sharing them on the blog with you all.
My latest obsession has to be this oversized sweater that I recently picked up. It's seriously the coziest sweater and has been wearing it NONSTOP lately. I'm sharing two of my favorite ways to style this sweater and today I'm starting off with how I like to dress it up a bit.
When it comes to styling oversized pieces, my go-to way to wear them is tucking part of it into my jeans. It's the perfect way to add a little "something something" to a look and give a little shape to your outfit. We all know black jeans are a must for me and they always seem so much dressier than regular jeans to me. Throw on some booties and some accessory and you have just dressed up your regular oversized comfy sweater! This is my latest go-to look for heading to lunch with friends or for days where I want to be cozy but still, put together.
What's your go-to way to style your oversized sweaters? I'd love to know in the comments down below! Also, I hope you all are having a great Wednesday and have been enjoying Blogmas! I can't believe it's almost over and Christmas is almost here!! Only 4 more days!!
Have a happy Wednesday and as always, thank you for reading!
So if today's blog post photos look like it was raining when we took them... because it was. hahaha. But really, it started raining right when we went out for this outfit and we thought we could quickly knock out these photos before the downpour.
So if you've been on my blog for a hot second then you know that I have a thing for all things floral. We all know floral print is hot in the springtime (groundbreaking, I know.), but florals can totally work in the winter as well! The trick is to get a floral print in a darker color pallet to be wearable in the cooler months.
I picked up this darling floral skirt from H&M during Black Friday weekend (which was not on sale, but I couldn't pass it up!) and love it. Unfortunately, this skirt isn't available online, but I have linked several similar options for you all down below. You can also try checking in stores if they have the skirt in stock and I know they have a dress in the same print of this skirt as well! I think this skirt the perfect piece to wear for a holiday party or even to work.
In other non-fashion related news, I'm officially home for the holidays! I am in the mountains for winter break and it's so good to be home with family. As much as I love Charlotte and all there is to do in the city, I do love how I can go out at 5pm and not worry about being stuck in traffic #smalltownlife. I feel like it is officially the holiday season now that I'm home and am excited to start building gingerbread houses and bake cookies with my family!
I hope all of you that are on winter break are enjoying your break from school and catching up on some much-needed sleep! I hope you have a great day and as always, thank you for reading!
I'm happy to report that I am FINALLY done with finals and excited to start my winter break! With winter break finally being here that means it's time to celebrate with dressing up, holiday parties, and maybe a drink (or two!).
When it comes to holiday parties and dressing up, being uncomfortable in your shoes is the last thing you want on your mind. If you're anything like me and then thought of wearing heels makes you cringe because of the thought of having to take them off in the middle of the night and walking around barefoot. #Unsanitary
Sole Patches are essential to any holiday party because they allow you to wear your highest heels with minimum pain. The way you wear your Sole Patches is that you apply them on the bottom of your feet and that way you don't have to commit one patch to a specific shoe. This is such an easy and quick fix to be able to enjoy your holiday festivities!
I hope you all have been having a great week and a fun weekend! I'm headed to a few fun festive events tonight so be sure to follow along on Snapchat (@amy.pnp) to join in on the fun!

Today is the last day of my finals!! *Cheers* Although I had a pretty easy finals week this semester, it's still a nice relief to have a break from classes. Also, tonight I'm hosting a fun Christmas dinner party with a few of my friends and am so excited to hang out with everyone!
Speaking of Christmas parties...
With the holidays here, festive parties have been popping up left and right. I think this may be the first year I have multiple parties to attend and attending fun festive parties come with deciding on what to wear. This little holiday number is one of my favorites of mine and it's totally giving me Blair Waldorf vibes!
There's something so classic about black tights with a skirt or dress in the wintertime and mixed with black, white and red you have a recipe for a classic holiday outfit! Also, can we take a second with this skirt... If you saw on my IG Snap haul then you saw I scored this darling piece for $8!!!! It's still on sale right now and be sure to snag it while you can!
Are you all attending any fun holiday parties this season? I'd love to know in the comments down below! Also, can we take a second on how Christmas is 10 days away! That's crazy and where did December go?? I cannot believe it's going by so fast but I'm excited to see my family!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and be sure to come back tomorrow for a new blogmas post!
Welcome back to another blogmas post! I hope you all have been enjoying this series!!
A couple summers ago cropped tops and skater skirts were a popular trend. Flash forward two years and here I am still rockin' the trend but I switched out my crop top for a cropped sweater (because of #winter). I love wearing shorter sweaters over skirts for the main obvious reason... you don't have to deal with the whole "tucked in and bunched up sweater" ordeal.
Unfortunately, most of my outfit is sold out or no longer available since I got it a while back, but I have linked a ton of similar options for you all to recreate the look down below. I've said it before that I want my blog to be more of a place for outfit inspiration and getting ideas on how to style a similar piece in your wardrobe.
What do you all think about cropped sweaters? Do you like them or are they not your thing? Let me know in the comments down below! I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!
Welcome back to another blogmas post! I cannot believe we're halfway through blogmas!! December is going by WAY too fast. On the bright side though, by Thursday I'll be done with all my exams and presentations for the fall semester! It's super bittersweet, but it'll be nice to have a break.
If you saw my last outfit post then you know I have been loving green lately. I'm not sure if it's because of the holidays being here or what, but I'm not complaining. I managed to snag this cozy green cardigan during Black Friday and am so happy I did! This sweater is super cozy and perfect festive piece to wear without looking like a walking Christmas tree.
Also, speaking of sweaters...
I've noticed that either I outgrew all of my sweaters, donated them or somehow lost them, but I have been definitely lacking in the sweater department this year (which if you know me, is a HUGE no no because I'm always cold!). I've been on the hunt for some cute chunky sweaters and may ask Santa to gift me some this year! Where are your favorite places to pick up sweaters? Let me know in the comments down below!
That's it for today's blogmas post! I hope you all have a wonderful Monday and as always, thank you for reading!
