Hi friends!

The holiday season is in full swing and that means our calendars tend to get pretty booked up with various festive events. Company holiday parties are a pretty new thing to me since the previous job positions I've had primarily include working in retail or the restaurant business and our parties tend to be very casual. Last week I was able to attend my first company holiday party as my boyfriend's plus one! It was such a fun time and definitely a fun way to kick off the holiday season.

I feel like work finding outfits for work events can be a little tricky. You want a balance of looking polished and put together but nothing too revealing. For me, midi skirts are a safe bet for these types of events. They're super cute, you don't have to worry about your hemline is too short and you can easily dress it up or down based on the occasion.

I picked up this festive midi skirt after seeing Amanda John of Strawberry Chic do a try on haul a few weeks ago and knew I needed to have it for the holidays! For one, this skirt is super affordable and easy to style! I've worn this skirt three times and love pairing it with either cropped sweaters or fitted bouses.
