I get it, buying clothes on Amazon can be pretty overwhelming. I mean, there is SO much to choose from, so many vendors and how do you know if it's actually worth your money? Today I'm breaking down my top Amazon Prime fashion purchases to help you better base your decision on what size to order and if it's worth your money or not.

Happy Prime Day!

I had mentioned in last week's post that I've been really into Amazon Fashion lately. Although I've gone through a lot of trial and error with ordering pieces and having to send them back due to quality issues, being ill-fitting or just all around completely wrong, I did manage to come across some solid gems. I know clothes on Amazon can be pretty hit or miss and I know for me, I really rely on the reviews on the item when deciding to make a purchase.

Today, in honor of Amazon Prime day, I thought it would be appropriate and helpful to share some of my favorite Amazon fashion finds with you all! Here I'll be breaking down what size I got on each item, the sizing verdict, how I've styled it and my overall review of the item. All of these items are under $30 and are available on prime!

To begin, I want to throw my stats out to you all just so you can get a better idea of how each item fits me and so you are able to better base the sizing for yourself.

Height:
5'4"ish

Dress Size:
4 / S / M - I'm usually a small / 4 in Lilly Pulitzer

Shirt Size:
S / M - I'm usually small in Lilly Pulitzer and J.Crew and a Medium in Forever 21

Pant Size:
27 / 4 / S / M - I'm usually a 27 in American Eagle, 4 in Old Navy pants and medium in their workout leggings and a small / 4 in J.Crew

Review: This has to be up there with one of my favorite Amazon Prime fashion purchases. During my DCP I was looking for an inexpensive backpack to take with me in the parks that were cute and not too big. This bag is great because it comes with 3 straps so you can not only can you wear it as a backpack, but you can wear it as a crossbody like I've styled above or a top handle bag. The zippers on the bag allow you to expand it to give you some extra room.

Original Post: Yellow Bell Sleeve Dress

Size: Small - Runs TTS

Review: I recently posted a full outfit post on this dress and if you read it then you know that I love this dress! It's the perfect length for work, it's pretty good quality and comes in so many different patterns and colors. Def recommend!

Original Post: Gimmie Some Ruffles, also styled here and here

Size: Medium - This retailer runs a little small, I usually order a medium!

Review: This top may be familiar to some of you. This has to be one of my favorite tops that I own! I originally got this top from SheIn, but you can find some SheIn / Romwe items on Amazon Prime. This top is a polyester material and only slightly see-through, but nothing a nude bra can't fix! This shirt is slightly cropped, making it come a couple inches below the top of your jeans. I love how this top instantly dresses up any outfit!

Size: S - Runs TTS, may be short for anyone taller than me

Review: I originally saw this dress on Katy of MuMu and Macaroons' Instagram story and thought it was too darling not to pass up. The material is pretty good for what it is and has a slight stretch to it. The lavender color I got isn't sheer which is good since I was hesitant to purchase a lighter color because of that. I will say, this dress is borderline a little too short for my preference (aka I can't raise my arms), so I'd say anyone taller than me it may be a little too short for you.

Size: S/M - runs TTS

Review: this has to be one of my most worn Amazon Fashion pieces. We all know that the Gucci Belts were super popular a few months ago, and although I loved the look of the Gucci Belt, there was no way I could bring myself to spend $$$ on it. I know the faux belts on Amazon were floating around the blogging world, but I also couldn't bring myself to purchase one o those either since many of the dupes were made unethically. I figured a good compromise would be this double ring belt! I think it still gives off the look of the Gucci Belt without the price or a direct rip off of it.

Size: S - runs TTS

Review: Next to the white ruffle top, I'd say this has to be my second most worn top from Amazon! I almost want to get this top in another color because I love it that much! The wide sleeves on this top are so fun and the length of the shirt is a little longer than the standard top, but can still be easily be tucked into any high waisted pants. This top comes in a lot of different colors and patterns as well as a dress form! The material is slightly see-through, but a nude bra is fun underneath.

Size: S - Runs TTS

Review: This was one of the first dresses I ordered from Amazon Prime! The quality of this piece is ok but could be better. The dress isn't lined, but again nude undergarment is an easy fix for it. The dress comes in a variety of colors and is a good length for me. I typically style it with my black double ring belt so I don't run into the issue of raising my arms and the dress being too short.

Original Post: White Peplum Top

Size: M - Runs small, would size up

Review: This is another Romwe/SheIn top on Amazon. I wore this during my guest service job two years ago and got so many compliments on it! The material is thicker than most of the pieces I've got from Amazon and the top isn't too sheer. I would say the medium fits fine on me, but if I were to order it again I'd probably size up to a large to make it fit a little better on me. This top is so fun for work and love that it has a nice subtle texture on it.

WHEW. That was a lot. I hope you all find this Amazon Prime Fashion roundup helpful! Again, I know that clothes on Amazon can be pretty hit or miss so hopefully this will give you a better insight on what to order and what is worth your money. Let me know if you'd like me to do another round up like this in the future and also let me know what your favorite Amazon finds are down below! I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Amy
