Happy Wednesday friends!

I hope you all are doing well! I can't believe this is the first time I've posted twice in a span of two weeks over the past month!! I know, I know I keep saying the same things over and over again, but things really have been crazy around here. I mean, from spring break hitting Florida to the Flower and Garden festival to getting deployed at work, it's been a handful over here, but I'm loving it! I can't wait to update you all on what I've been up to. If you haven't yet, be sure to check out last month's DCP recap

The end of February kicked off the first day of the International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. It's no surprise that I LOVE flowers so naturally I'm all geeked out for the festival. If you're not familiar with the Flower and Garden festival, it's basically a festival where they turn Epcot into a giant botanical garden. From seeing your favorite characters turned into amazing topiaries to outdoor concerts to delicious foods, there's just so much to love about Flower and Garden.

My roommate Christina and I spent one of our days off exploring the festival and taking tons of photos around the parks. I wore my new favorite lemon overall dress (I thought it was very fitting) and got so many compliments on it!

If you read last week's post then you know that completing four parks in one day has been on my DCP bucket list and I was finally able to cross that off this past month! Christina and I woke up bright and early Sunday morning to park hop across all of the WDW Resort theme parks and it was so much fun (and tiring!!). If you want to read about our experience and our tips on accomplishing the challenge you can do so here

This past month was also my roommate Zully's birthday! Zully was the first roommate I met when I moved down here and is now one of my dearest friends. It's been so fun experiencing the whole college program with her and all of my roommates and I'm so happy the Disney Gods placed us together to be housemates!

For her birthday we headed out to the Animal Kingdom Lodge to have a birthday breakfast at Boma. Boma is an African Safari themed buffet restaurant and it boy did we get our money's worth. It was so fun celebrating her and we were all definitely in a food coma by the end of the night.

I had mentioned that I had gotten deployed (twice) this past month for work which means that I had gotten scheduled at different locations outside of my usual home location. For deployment, I had gotten a chance to work at Market Place Co-Op, Pin Traders and TrenD at Disney Springs. It was nice to switch things up for a bit and meet some new friends outside of my usual zone. One of my bucket list items is to work at all four parks at least once so I hope this month I can start picking up shifts at some of the parks!

I would be lying if I said I kept up my health(ish) diet and consistent work out schedule down here in Florida. Between my late night work schedules and wanting to try all of the things Disney has to offer, it's been a little tricky keeping up with everything. One of the many treats my roommates and I have been able to try this past month was Mickey's Kitchen sink! If you're not familiar with this super sweet dessert, it's four scoops of ice cream of your choice, whip cream, hot fudge and two cherries on top. So yummy and definitely a treat for sharing!

I can't end my monthly recap without mentioning some exciting news I received this past month... I'M EXTENDING FOR THE SUMMER! That's right, four months in the most magical place on Earth just wasn't enough so I'm staying in Disney until July 26th! I'm so excited to continue my Disney journey and take you all along with.

And that's it for a highlight recap of this past month! There's so much more that I would like to share, but I feel like I'd be here forever. Thank you all again for stopping by and for following along! I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Amy
