Happy Monday friends!

Today marks day 2 of my training in DCP and I'm scheduled to get fitted for my costume today! The past few days have been a whirlwind and I've been trying to soak up as much as I can. It's crazy how jammed pack the past few days has been considering the first few days here my roommates and I have just been begging to find something to do before our training started. On the bright side, I've already met so many cool people here in the past week and I'm excited to continue to make more friends during my time here.

I think one of the coolest things about this program is that you get to meet people from all over and learn about different cultures. Two of my roommates are from Puerto Rico and it's been so fun learning about their culture and picking up on some Spanish too! They're determined to get me to understand it by the time my program is over, we'll see!

In addition to learning more about where other people came from, it's been fun being able to share my background and where I'm from as well. I may be biased, but I personally think North Carolina is the best state and may or may not mention that every time when people ask me where I'm from... I've also gotten into the habit of just saying I'm from Charlotte, NC because it's just 10x easier than explaining the tiny hometown I'm actually from... #SmallTownProbs am I right?

Even though it's been so fun being able to experience living in the Sunshine state and meeting so many new people, I can't help but feel a little homesick. I think it's the fact that I've become so comfortable and familiar with Charlotte and now that I'm in Orlando I basically have to start from scratch again with figuring out where everything is. I low key feel like a freshman in college again!

I may do a post later on about homesickness and any tips I pick up on how to deal with it. Let me know down below if you all would be interested in that!

Annnnddd that's about it for today's post! Kinda rambly, kinda a bit of an update, but all in all I hope you all in enjoyed it. I'm still trying to figure out a solid schedule of getting photos and posting posts so please bear with me. Also, please let me know down below if you have any requests for blog posts whether it be Disney related or not! I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Amy
