I've seen embroidered skirts like this everywhere lately and am so excited to finally add it to my ever-growing embroidery collection. The details on the skirt are just too pretty and for under $40 you can't really get any better than that. Today I'm sharing how you can style this skirt with a bit of print mixing to give it a fun late fall look!

Happy Monday friends!

Many of you know that one of my favorite trends as of late has been the embroidery trend. I recently added this skirt from Allura Boutique to my closet and have already gotten so much use out of it! The colors in it are so fun and can definitely see it being styled in multiple ways.

I shared this skirt in my November Instagram roundup styled with a white sweater and a maroon statement necklace for work, and today I wanted to play around with some pattern mixing. I love mixing prints in the fall and winter, I feel like it just makes an outfit a little bit more fun!

This black and white striped shirt has been one of my first ever Nordstrom Anniversary sale finds and one of my most worn items. (Low key think it needs to be replaced soon because I wear it so much!). This top is typically my go-to base when I want to play around with mixing prints. To help pull in the look together I pair it off with my favorite maroon cardigan (another Nordstrom Anniversary sale fave!) to bring out the maroon in the skirt.

I wore this outfit while I was visiting back home over Thanksgiving break and it kept me surprisingly warm despite it being 40 - 50 degrees out!

I hope you all have a wonderful week and as always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Amy
