You know, they said as a rule in fashion that you shouldn't mix multiple trends together... you should also know that I don't always like following the rules, especially fashion rules. When a top that combines all of your favorite trends such as pinstripes, embroidery and ruffles come together you have to get it, right? Right.

Ruffles seem to be such a big trend as of late and I'm all about it! there's something so feminine and fun about a ruffle blouse and I love how it's such a statement in itself that you don't have to go too crazy with accessories. We all know that I have a special place in my heart for pinstripes and embroidery so when I saw this top that has pinstripes, embroidered flowers AND ruffles I knew I had to have it.

I've already worn this outfit to work and received so many compliments on it! I have also been pairing everything lately with these white Shoreline Converse. I have expressed many times how I've wanted a white pair of converse and I finally pulled the trigger a month ago and am SO happy that I did! After the initial break in, they're so comfy and literally go with everything. I love how they instantly give off a casual/laid back/school girl look to any outfit.
If you're considering picking yourself up a pair I HIGHLY recommend doing so. I also recommend the shoreline converse over the traditional ones. I've had traditional converse for years and think the shoreline ones are:
A. cuter and girlier in my opinion
B. comfier

In other news...
If you followed me on Instagram then you know that recently went home this past weekend to celebrate RJ's birthday! We pretty much just chilled this past weekend, which was nice and much needed. It was so fun being home for a little bit and getting a break from work!
