So, it happened. After months and months of hearing about the podcast train and never thinking I would hop on it, I finally did. Honestly, I was surprised I didn't get into them sooner! I always watch YouTube videos in my free time and would much rather have them playing in the background rather than music. I pretty much only listen to music in the car or at the gym, but there's only so much Justin Bieber you can listen to, am I right? So when my cousin first introduced me to my first podcast I was hooked. It was like listening to a YouTube video but I can do it in my car and not worry about getting distracted by a screen!

Can you believe that it's already November?! It seems like now that Halloween is behind us, everyone is in full Christmas mood which is unfortunate for me because I FINALLY got into the fall spirit. Sucks, huh? 

Since both of jobs are the busiest during the holiday season (and not to mention the blogging world too...), it's kinda hard for me to not get into the holiday spirit as much as I want to deny it. But, my take on when we should start getting into the Christmas spirit is a topic for another day. I had asked a few weeks ago if you all would be interested in hearing some of my favorite podcasts on the blog and many of you expressed that you loved the idea! Keep in mind I'm still new to the "podcast world" and I'm still finding new ones to listen to, but the ones that I have found I have loved so I'm excited to share them with you all!

So, without further ado, let's get started!

How I Built This

This was actually the first podcast I started listening to and love it! It is hosted by NPR and tells stories of entrepreneurs and their journey of starting their business. My favorite episodes so far have been SPANX, Kate Spade and Five Guys! I started to listen to these podcasts while I drive to work and it's been a great way to start off my day. It's always so inspiring to hear how others started up their business and the struggles they went to to get where they are today. 

Help! I suck at Dating

For all of you Bachelor / Bachelor in Paradise lovers, you may enjoy this podcast. Dean Ugler from Rachel's season and this past BIP season started a podcast where he gathers advice on to help his dating game. If you saw this most recent BIP season then you know that heartthrob Dean had let us all down by bouncing back and forth between Kristina and Danielle and ultimately ended up losing both of them. Even though I don't necessarily need the dating advice (hi RJ!), it is interesting listening to the Podcast and him getting advice from others! 

Fohr Cast

I'm sure many of you that are bloggers are familiar with Fohr Card and the Drink with James videos. If you're not, Drink with James is a video series on YouTube produced by Fhor Card where James Nord dishes out all of his tips for Influencers and bloggers. He gives a lot of real and useful information and the podcast version of his videos make it so much easier to listen while you're on the go!

And those are the ones I've been into / discoverer lately! I'm still fairly new into the "Podcast world" and am always on the hunt for new ones to listen to.
