Hi friends!

Can you believe that it's already the end of October? I feel like the leaves are finally changing and the weather is just now starting to cool off right as October ends. This past month has been an absolute blur and I can already tell the next coming months are going to go by just as fast (my weekends are pretty much already booked!), pretty standard for the holiday season though, right?

Highlights

First Company Photoshoot - One of the biggest highlights (and honestly the most time consuming) from this past month has been prepping for my first big brand photoshoot for my job. I've never been in charge of a big production shoot before, and this was really fun (and slightly stressful) to put together! The actual shoot day was an 8-hour long day filled with good company, holiday sparkles, and pretty jewels. Even though the shoot I had put together was still on a very small scale, I do have such a big appreciation for people who put on large styled shoots. I definitely have learned a lot from it and even made notes to incorporate into my own blogger shoots!

Halloween Festivities - We can't really talk about October without talking about Halloween Costumes. If you're a long-time follower here, you know that I love making Halloween Costumes. Two years ago I shared the infamous Bad and Boujee costume with Caralina Style and this year we shared a girlier take with a Rose and Champagne bottle! I had actually tried to convince my boyfriend to be a bottle of orange juice so I could wear my champagne costume, but he wasn't quite sold... We did settle on a Sushi Chef and Salmon Nigiri costume which was just as fun to put together and a costume I've been wanting to make for a while! We had attended a Halloween party my boyfriend's friends hosted and we actually won the best costume!

What I've Been Loving

Pinterest - Nothing groundbreaking or too exciting, but I have been really into Pinterest lately! I believe it may just be a seasonal thing with looking up home decor, Halloween costume ideas, gift ideas, holiday outfits, etc. I'm in the process of putting together my first Friendsgiving and have been pinning ideas NONSTOP. I'm so excited to see everything together and of course, I'll be sharing tons of pics!

@WhereToEatCharlotte - If you live in the Charlotte area you know that the food scene here is ON POINT. I'm always looking for new restaurants to try and new local foodies to follow. I have been following Miranda of Where to Eat Charlotte for a few months now and the girl has been KILLING the food game lately. She gives such great in-depth reviews on local eateries in Charlotte including her recommendations on what to order. She's so personable and upbeat and I highly recommend following her if you're in the Charlotte area looking for new places t try out!

@Hello.Thalita - Another Instagram babe I've been loving lately! I've connected with Thalita earlier this month and love all the fashion content she's been posting. She recently launched a website showcasing the latest fashion trends. She's super sweet and be sure to show some love to her new site!

What I bought

SheIn - If you follow me on Instagram then you may have seen my SheIn haul on Instagram stories! This was my first large SheIn purchase and I managed to find quite a few winners! I managed to pick quite a few pieces that will work great into the holiday season:

Temporary Shelving - I had recently purchased a shelving piece from Amazon by 3M Command to go over our fireplace in our apartment. We've been wanting to find something to put over our fireplace, but have been struggling on finding something that won't put holes in the walls since we are renting the place. It's been almost a week since I put the shelf up and it hasn't fallen off the walls yet! Now we just have to find a way to style them.
