The countdown to 2018 is on. For my last post of 2017 I wanted to take a second to stop and reflect on what happened this past year.
Happy Wednesday friends!
It's crazy to think this will be my last outfit post for 2017!! It's crazy how fast the year flew by. I swear they get faster and faster as you get older... or maybe they just go by faster because you're busier. One of the two, right?
Today I'm sharing another workwear look with you all! I recently added this white peplum top to my wardrobe and love how I can easily pair it with my favorite pixie pants for work. I also feel like this top would be super cute with some dark washed skinny jeans and heels as well!
Also, I know this tote bag was first featured in a few blog posts ago, but I haven't formally introduced her to you all! If you all didn't know, I always like to name my handbags (bc, why not??) and share the names of them with you all. I've always been a strong Kate Spade bag lover and haven't branched too much outside of it as far as my "splurge" handbags, but I saw this Rebecca Minkoff tote and fell in love! It's the perfect work bag and I just love how sharp and structured it looks. As for the name, I decided to name her Bex! Let me know down below if you liked to name your handbags as well!

Believe it or not, I have never participated in a Secret Santa gift exchange! I have always wanted to and loved shopping for gifts for others and was so excited to participate in not only one but two Secret Santa gift exchanges this year!
Is it me or are capes just popping up left and right lately?! I have always seen them come about during the cooler months, but for some reason, they've been such a hot item this year. I have been seeing capes styled multiple ways on my Instagram feed and wanted to give the clothing piece a try for myself.
Is it me or are parents the hardest to shop for?? I mean, they have almost everything they could need, and if your parents are like mine, then pretty much anything they want they will go ahead and purchase it for themselves right then and there. Today I'm rounding up some gift ideas that I'm sure any parent will love! I'm going to break the post up into different sections consisting of material items, experiences and DIY's.
Thought I give you all a break from all of the holiday content and share a cute winter outfit styling for you all! This little overall dress has been on repeat for me lately and I love how I can easily transition it into the warmer months too!
I swear the older I get the harder it is to put together a Christmas wish list. I mean, in all honesty, I've been super lucky and fortunate to have everything I need. This is just a list of things that I'd like to have / things I'm saving up to purchase for myself. I hope this helps give you some ideas on what to ask for this Christmas / things to buy for someone on your list!

It's no surprised that bell sleeves have been such a popular trend this year. Today I'm sharing how I styled this subtle bell sleeve top that would be perfect for any holiday occasion!
I've seen embroidered skirts like this everywhere lately and am so excited to finally add it to my ever-growing embroidery collection. The details on the skirt are just too pretty and for under $40 you can't really get any better than that. Today I'm sharing how you can style this skirt with a bit of print mixing to give it a fun late fall look!
