Jacket season is quickly coming upon us ladies and gents! Who's ready to break out their edgy leather jackets and chic trench coats? As much as I love the look of cute outerwear, I tend to steer away from it when I'm out shopping. This season I'm making it an effort to step up my jacket game and I'm kicking it off with this fun pink jacket

Happy Monday friends!

I hope you all had a great weekend! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen on my stories that I was able to meet up with some fellow Charlotte bloggers and have brunch at Vivace! Vivace was actually where I had my 22nd birthday dinner and my graduation dinner. I have always heard great things about their brunch so I was excited to try it out!

So now diving into today’s outfit styling.

As much as I am into clothing and styling there seems to be one thing that I lack at when it comes to the clothing department… Outerwear. I was never one to have lots of cool jackets and if I did have a jacket I liked, it would be the only one I would wear religiously.

I have been trying to make it a goal this year to try and step up my jacket game. I mean, it is the finishing touch on an outfit and if you’re spending long hours outside you would want one that is both chic and practical, am I right?

When it comes to jackets I tend to gravitate towards the more practical colors such as black, olive and navy since like I said I would wear them all the time. In part of trying to step up my game, I decided to go a little outside of my comfort zone and pick up this fun pink jacket/duster. I love how this piece is such a chic statement and for an affordable price! I do have to warn that this is one of those jackets that is more for show than practicality. The material is fairly light and will not keep you very warm, but it is great to throw on as a layer for those not so fall fall days but you want to have the layered look.

Where are your favorite places to get jackets? I’d love to know and check them out! I hope you all have a great week and as always, thank you for reading!

Xoxo,
Amy
