It's the first official day of summer which also means it's National Wear Your Lilly Day! What better way to celebrate summer than to sport your favorite brightly colored and printed Lilly attire??

Happy Wednesday friends!

To be honest, I never really heard of "National Wear Your Lilly Day" until about a year and a half ago. Last year was my first year "celebrating" the holiday, and it was such a fun way to celebrate summer in my favorite Lilly shift. I think part of the reason why I never really heard of this "holiday" was mainly that I didn't really start shopping at Lilly until about two years ago.

I could never really (and still can't) afford to purchase Lilly Pulitzer at full price and it wasn't until about two years ago I heard about the After Party Sale. Since then I've been trying to save up money and treat myself to a goodie or two during the sale. Since my first After Party Sale experience, I have been able to find new Lilly pieces at discounted prices whether it be through secondhand stores like UptownCheapskate and ThredUp or searching through the sale racks of Belk and Lilly Pulitzer stores.

*Check out other ways you can get discounted Lilly in this post!

With that being said, I'm so happy now that I have my own little Lilly collection after years of only window shopping on their website. This year I plan on sporting my newest thrifted Lilly find... this darling white tag Lilly Pulitzer skirt for $20! I was so happy when I came across this darling piece and was even more surprised that it fit! This skirt was actually marked two sizes smaller than I actually am and somehow it managed to fit! Hey, no complaints here.

I low key feel like this outfit gives me major 1950's housewife vibes, but I'm not hating it. I feel like this skirt would also look cute with maybe a denim button-down or just a simple white tank and flats for a little more dressed-down look. I'm excited to play around with this skirt some more and find other ways to style it!

In honor of National Wear Your Lilly day I have linked a few of my favorite Lilly items for you all down below! Also, let me know if you're celebrating today and what Lilly item are you wearing?? I'd love to know! I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!
