Happy Friday friends!

With my graduation date approaching soon, the question everyone seems to be asking is "what are you doing after graduation?" If you're a college senior then you know this question all too well. Heck, even if you're just in college you'll get bombarded with this question. I get it, people want to know what your plans are and it's a great conversation starter, but I honestly dread this question.

Why? Because I still have no idea what I'm doing.

I've started the job application process, but it just seems so draining and I don't even know what I'm getting myself into even interests me. My biggest fear is putting all of my time and effort into something I hate. It seems like everyone I come in contact with knew from the beginning what they wanted to do whether it be a teacher, an accountant, doctor, nurse, whatever. For me? I've always struggled with what I wanted to do. I was always the kid who wanted to be a fashion designer or a dancer but was always told that I need a more "realistic" career choice.

You'd think after four years of college I would maybe get an idea of what I want to do with my life, but here I am a month away from graduation and still am drawing a blank. What exactly do I want to do? I know I love to create, whether it be art, crafts, content, etc. My mom can easily tell you that. Sure blogging full time seems like the ideal job, but right now that's just not realistic for me.

I always felt like the only choice for me career-wise was to go into a standard 9 - 5 job in corporate America. I had mentioned in my Things I Learned About Living in Charlotte post that it wasn't until I came to school in Charlotte till I realized pretty much anything is possible. I mean, we live in a day and age where people are making a steady income from making YouTube videos and social media sponsorships.

Today I've teamed up with Fashionit to share this adorable message in a bottle reusable bottle with you all. I'm a big fan of quotes and I love how this one reminds me every day to follow my dreams.

I truly believe you can achieve anything you set your mind on with hard work and dedication. I mean, success just doesn't happen overnight you know. I guess what I'm trying to say is to not be afraid to chase after your dreams. It may have to take you staying up till 1 / 2 am after your 9 - 5 job to make it happen or saying no to a night out with friends sometimes, but it may pay off in the end. Set a goal, make a plan and crush it.

Life is full of limitless possibilities and way too short not to go after your dreams. I hope you all follow your dreams and work hard to make it happen. Have a great weekend and as always, thank you for reading!
