If they're going to make me dress like an "adult" I'm at least going to throw in some type of color, pattern, or girly flair in there, right? Don't get me wrong, I love my blacks and navy pieces, but life is to short to go out to work in boring clothes every day, right?

Happy Wednesday friends!

So I have a confession to make... My closet is lacking in the work/business casual attire badly. And when I mean badly I mean I alternate between two outfits when I need to dress up. This is slightly embarrassing considering that I am a senior in college and I am a business major. How did I last this long? I question that myself too.

I was never the one who loved the traditional plain black and white business wear outfit (which I know in different professions there isn't much room to play with prints and colors). I like my outfits to reflect my personality and mood for the day and most days black and white just aren't going to cut it for me.

If you take a look through my past outfit posts you can quickly tell that I love colors and a good fun pattern (especially floral!) I recently rediscovered this printed shirt dress in my closet and cannot believe that it's been tucked away in my closet for so long! I have had this dress since sophomore year of HIGH SCHOOL and have probably worn it maybe twice since then. In the past two weeks, I've already worn this dress three times and am already looking for similar dresses because I love it so much!

Funny how were fall in love with old items when we go shopping in our own closets, huh? Kind of the reason why I am hesitant to get rid of my old things.. haha!

Like I had said, my workwear wardrobe needs some work especially with some changes shortly occurring. If you all have a favorite place to find some cute and affordable workwear items please let me know in the comments down below! Also, let me know what your go-to workwear piece is. I'd love to know!

P.S. All my Charlotte friends, there's a fun Brahmin event at South Park tomorrow evening if you all want to check it out! Here's the invite with all the information if you would like to attend!

I hope all of you have a wonderful rest of your week!
