There's something about a crisp button-down and some good fitting pixie pants that make you feel like you can take on the world. Today I'm sharing some of my favorite workwear pieces that are a must-have in any working gal's closet!

Happy Friday friends!

So, I have a confession to make... The photos shot in today's post were shot in MARCH. HOLY COW!

How did they not end up on the blog till now? I have no idea. I had originally shot this look as one of my internship outfits to share with you all. I had done a reader servery earlier this year and many of you had expressed that you would like to see more workwear outfits on the blog. So, here it is! ....a few months later, but no big deal, right? Right.

Even though these photos were shot a few months ago, many of these items you can either still get now or very similar ones because they are such closet/work wear staples. I have talked about these black pixie pants on the blog when I first started to dress for my internship and they are still my favorite pair of work pants. They are so comfy and that's saying A LOT coming from someone who hates wearing pants. I already own 4 different pairs of these pants in 2 different lengths and 3 different colors/patterns. They are a must have and super affordable too!

As far as tops go, you can never go wrong with a good classic button down. Of course, you can never go wrong with a good white oxford, but a navy pinstripe one is a great option as well. I recently just updated mine from J.Crew Factory and I love how easy it is to style for both work and for more casual occasions.

So, to be honest I don't really wear heels to work. #truth. Even though my Guest Service job does allow me to sit for most of my shift, I like to be ready for that one occasion where I have to run memos or run out because a giant polar bear gets loose. You know, gotta be prepared.

With that being said, flats are my go to. This particular pair of flats have been my favorite because they're 1. super affordable, 2. super comfy, 3. come in a million colors. I already own them in leopard, black and a fun glittery gold for the holidays. I know not everyone is on the flats train and if you're looking for a good pair of work heels, I have heard amazing things about these Sam Edelman pairs!

And that's it for today's post! What are your go-to / must have workwear pieces? Let me know in the comments down below! I hope you all are having a wonderful week and as always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Amy
