Happy Monday friends!
Graduation season is upon us! If you followed me on Instagram then you may have seen on my Insta Stories that I was having THE hardest time finding a graduation dress. All of the dresses I tried on during my hunt either looked weird on, didn't go with my robe or were off the shoulder (which, we all know how I feel about OTS). In the end, I settled on an old Lilly dress that I had bought a couple years ago during the After Party Sale and have yet to wear.
Today I collaborated with Katie of Chic in Carolina to share some of the graduation dress picks for both college and high school! If you all don't know, Katie is a high school senior and is heading to Clemson in the fall!
I have rounded up some of the cutest dresses that I think would be perfect for college graduation. They range from classic white dresses, splurge dresses and dresses under $50 for those gals on a budget. When I was picking out these dresses I wanted to keep in mind the length of the graduation gown and sleeve length. So, without further ado, let's get onto the dresses!
Splurge dresses:
If you're looking to splurge on your grad dress, I think Lilly has some of the CUTEST dresses out right now (but, when do they not?) If we still had black robes for graduation I would have totally gone for a dress like this!
Dresses under 50:
I know many schools, especially high schools, require students to wear white dresses for graduation. My school this year actually decided to switch to green robes and I had the hardest time finding a dress that would go with green. I was actually thinking about choosing a white dress and think it's the easiest color to pick if you do have a colored robe. If you're looking for a classic girly white dress I think this one would be a darling choice!
