Happy Monday friends!

I hope all of you had a great weekend! I'm so excited to share today's post with you all. We all know brunch is the best meal of the day and today I'm dishing out my 5 must-try brunch locations in Charlotte.  One of my favorite parts about Charlotte has to be the food scene. There are SO many good restaurant options here and it's such a big contrast to my hometown (we had a total of about 4 non-fast food chain restaurant options).

Also, side note: I had totally meant to be super artsy and incorporate me drinking coffee in these photos, but we were taking these at 7 pm and caffeine + me at night = recipe for disaster.

But, before we get to the restaurant, let's take a hot second with this dress. This floral number is the perfect Sunday brunch outfit. Why? For one, it's SUPER cute and two, it's super flowy which makes it perfect for you to stuff your face to your heart's content and don't have to worry about any constricting clothes. #realtalk We all know that I love a good food friendly dress!

Now, let's get started in the brunch locations, shall we?

Fahrenheit
I've talked about Fahrenheit many times and it has to be one, if not my favorite places to treat myself to in Charlotte. From beautiful views to wonderful service and delicious food, what more can you ask for? Fun fact, Fahrenheit is where I actually tried Captain Crunch cereal for the first time. Crazy I know.

Suggest getting: Captain Crunch Pancakes - I low key felt like an 8-year-old ordering this, but I have zero regrets. If you have a sweet tooth like I do then you will love these! Pancakes sandwiched with Captain Crunch cereal and a side of breakfast potatoes? Yes, please! You can check out the full menu here

Famous Toastery
Famous Toastery, also known as Toast, serves brunch and lunch every day till 3 pm which makes it the ideal place for whenever you need your french toast fix.

Suggest Getting: Peanut Butter and Banana Stuffed French Toast - peanut butter and banana has to be one of my favorite combinations and add it with some french toast it's taste bud heaven. The order comes with 4 french toast sandwiches with a side which gives you plenty to fill you up in the restaurant and enough to take home. See the full menu here!

Bourdeaux
Bourdeaux is a little Louisiana styled restaurant in the corner of NoDa. If you're having trouble pronouncing the name, don't worry we're in the same boat. I've been here a couple of times with RJ and it's delicious!

Suggest Getting: Beignets - These are Cajun donuts and quite possibly the most delicious thing ever! I couldn't get a photo of them because we devoured them as soon as they arrived at the table because they're that good. A warning though, since they are covered in heavy amounts of powder sugar, try not to laugh while you eat them if you don't want to cover your entire table in powder sugary goodness.

Tupelo Honey Cafe

If you love southern-style food, then Tupelo Honey is your place to go! Tupelo puts an innovative twist on your traditional southern dishes and they're all so good!

Suggest Getting: ShooMercy Sweet Potato Pancakes! Can you really go wrong with pancakes for brunch? Items on the menu vary from time to time. One time I got them just topped with walnuts and others I had fried chicken. Either way, it's such a yummy brunch option!

Hazelnut's Creperie
In the mood for crepes? Check out Hazelnut's located in 7th Street Market! They offer both sweet and savory crepes and that are both delicious and filling.

Suggest getting: Pesto Capri. This delicious crepe is filled with basil pesto, mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, goat cheese, tomato, and onions... SO good! For my non-vegetarian friends, they also have the basil pesto chicken which is the same thing with chicken. RJ says it's just as good!

Those are my top five must-try brunch locations in Charlotte! I may do an updated one once I try more places in Charlotte if you all like! I love trying new food and sharing my yummy finds with you all.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and also, let me know where your favorite brunch locations are! I'd love to know, especially if I visit where ever you are located!
