Happy Friday friends!

So many exciting things are happening today! First off today is the day the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is open to the public!! I am so excited for the sale and to share with you all what I purchased from it. Today is also the first day of restaurant week, AKA, Queen's Feast here in Charlotte!

If you all aren't familiar to what restaurant week is, it's a week where more than 130 restaurants in the Charlotte area offer a three course dinner for $30 - $35. This is the best way to try out new restaurants at a more affordable price. Most of the restaurants have entrees that are easily $30 so this is an awesome deal to take advantage of.

In honor of restaurant week I am sharing some dresses that I think will be perfect for restaurant week or for any summer date night where you want to get dressed up for! I am loving this cobalt blue layered dress and can totally see this with some nude heels for a cute date night. Also, this hot pink dress would be darling with some black heels and a statement necklace for a fun night out!

My Restaurant Picks

I also thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite restaurants that I have ate at that are included in restaurant week this year! If you're in the Charlotte area or plan on visiting Charlotte during restaurant week, you can check out the list of participating restaurants here.

Blue Restaurant and Bar
I have ate at Blue multiple times for multiple occasions such as Valentine's day, Christmas, and my 20th Birthday! They have the best bread (the cranberry one is my favorite!) served with olive butter. If you ever go to Blue aside from restaurant week and order from their regular menu, RJ ( aka Mr. Camera man) always gets the wild boar shoulder and he highly recommends it!

Fahrenheit
I have been to Fahrenheit multiple times for both brunch and dinner and it never disappoints! The best part of Fahrenheit (besides the food of course!) is the KILLER view! It has the best view of Charlotte. When I did eat meat their lobster macaroni was my favorite!

Maggiano's Little Italy
I ate at Maggiano's for the first time at my first InfluenceHer Collective meet up and fell in love! I love Italian food and it didn't disappoint at at all. My favorite entree from Maggaino's is their four cheese ravioli. SO GOOD. If you're looking for a good appetizer I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms. You're welcome.

Nikko's Japanese Restaurant and Bar
Best. Sushi. Ever. I'm not kidding. Also, I'm not a huge ginger salad fan, but their ginger salad is my favorite! Their dressing isn't too strong and their miso soup is delicious as well.

Morton's Steakhouse
I actually went here last winter for restaurant week with some friends and it was delicious! Morton's has this "high class, classy" feel to the restaurant and I love it! I had their lobster bisque last time for restaurant week and it so good! They have it again this year for restaurant week, yay!

Those are a few of my thoughts on my favorite restaurants participating in restaurant week for ya. Are you planning on attending restaurant? If so, let me know where you plan on eating at! Have a great weekend everyone!
