Hello all! With Christmas quickly creeping up on us, I thought it would be fun to share with you all some affordable gift ideas. Personally, I don’t think you need to spend a whole lot of money on gifts on someone for it to be meaningful. After all, it’s the thought that counts, right?  Now, here are some gift ideas for you all that won’t break the bank!

1.     Painting / Drawing
Personally I would much rather get a handmade gift rather than a store bought one. I can always buy stuff for myself, but having someone put time into making you a gift is just so special!

If you have a talent in drawing or painting I would definitely consider gifting a piece of artwork to your loved ones this year! I think this is such a special and personal gift to give and I’m sure anyone who will be receiving this would be thrilled! You could frame your piece of art and the person receiving the gift will love it!

2.     DIY “Christmas in a box”
I was going to do a separate post on this, but due to finals I ran out of time. /: Basically for this you can get a box, fill it put with some Christmas PJs, holiday cookies, hot cocoa, etc. Anything that screams Christmas to you! Also, it would be really fun to decorate the box with some Christmas themed decorations. This would be such a fun gift to give on Christmas Eve!

3.     FOOD!
Okay, who doesn’t love food? A great inexpensive gift to give is to make someone some holiday treats. You can go out and get a really cute holiday serving plate or tin for cheap and make their favorite cookies or what ever treat they like. I’m sure who ever will receive this would love it!

Also, If you aren’t the best at cooking like me, I also you can put together a little package of all the ingredients to make their favorite food. For example, if you the person you are gifting really like chocolate chip cookies, you could always put together a little gift basket filled with all the ingredients to make the cookies. You can really get creative with this one and personalize the gift basket to fit the person you are gifting it to!

I hope this gave you some ideas on what to gift your love ones this year. Remember, you don't have to break the bank for a gift to be meaningful! It's what the thought that counts and who ever will be receiving it will love what you get them no matter what!
Have a great day everyone!
xoxo
