It's crazy to think that the countdown to Turkey Day is just down to 10 days! If you all didn't know, Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday. I mean, being around all of your loved ones and eating delicious food, what's not to love?? In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to share a few things I've been thankful for as of late.

Happy Monday friends!

With Thanksgiving next week I thought it'd be appropriate to share some things I've been thankful for. I feel like we're always in the habit of wishing things could be different / better or asking for the hottest new item on the market that we sometimes to forget that we have so much to be thankful for.

But, before we jump right into what I've been thankful for, I want to take a hot second and chat about this look! It's no surprise that I am a sucker for cute feminine details. I mean, add a ruffle or two on a top and I'm sold. When I saw this white jacket with these cute black scalloped detailing I was SOLD. There's something so classy and clean-cut out about this jacket that I love. I can totally see this paired with some black pixie pants for a cute sleek work look or even on top of a burgundy dress for Thanksgiving! It's such a polished looking jacket and I'm super excited to find more ways to style it!

O.K. now that we all know that I'm super obsessed with this jacket, it's jump into 4 things I'm thankful for. Of course, there's SO much more than I'm thankful for, but if I sat here and typed them all out we might be here for ages!

1. Being a college graduate
I know to be able to go to college, to begin with, is already something to be thankful for, but in addition, I have been so fortunate to come out debt-free. My parents knew from the get-go that they wanted to send me to school and have been putting money in my college fund ever since I was little. I am so grateful for everything they've done for me and able to let me graduate with a clean slate. If I ever have kids of my own I'll def try to follow my parent's footsteps of planning ahead.

2. Being able to still live in Charlotte
So I have shared on the blog that I moved out my first apartment a few months ago and then never really shared about what happened next. I'm sure many of you know that I'm not from Charlotte and in fact, my hometown is a good 4 hours away. So, where am I now? During my period of trying to find a job, my cousins have been so kind as to let me stay with them during my job search. I have grown to love Charlotte over the past few years and am so thankful I am able to continue living in the city for now. I am so grateful to have family that opens their doors to me during my post-grad journey.

3. Coffee
Is it weird to be thankful for coffee? It's the little things, right? As much as I try to stop drinking so much caffeine, I still can't shake off my love for coffee. I mean, between working so much and the rainy days we've been having coffee is a necessity. Coffee has been there through many exam cramming sessions, early Monday mornings and sometimes mid-afternoon. I mean, how can you not be thankful for something that's been through all those tough times? So with that, I'm thankful for the delicious, warm caffeinated beverage.

4. My Health

If you're a long-time reader on the blog you know that I tend to always say how thankful I am for my health every year. With the rise of so many diseases and sickness nowadays, my health is something I've started to make a priority lately. From trying to be on a consistent workout schedule to making healthier food choices, I'm thankful to be able to say overall I am pretty healthy. Which is a lot to be thankful for in itself.

What are you thankful for? Let me know in the comments down below and I can't wait to read them all! I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,
Amy
